Friends of the Willington Public Library Mission Statement

To focus public attention on library services, facilities, and needs; to assist the staff and the Library Board in developing and sponsoring programs of educational, cultural and recreational value for Friends and the community at large; and to develop fund-raising projects for the library.

What is the Friends?

The Friends provide a vital source of assistance and revenue for the library. We help enhance the library's offering of event, resources and programs.

Guest speakers, computers, summer performances, and a variey of programming for children and adults are just a few of the things provided through our fundraising efforts.

What ways can I help?

Book sale, book store, tag sale, bake sale, volunteer in the library, serve on a committee, run a discussion group, make a donation.

How do I join?

Click on the membership form, choose a membership level, fill out the information, and send it on to the library or stop in the library and fill out a form there.
